The 2009 bike riding season is just getting started! If you’re as much of a nut as I am, you’ve probably ridden down a snow-covered driveway and onto some icy roads already this year. I’m excited to put more miles on my bike, and hopefully go on a couple of multi-day trips, which I haven’t done in years.

I need to take a trip to the Madison, WI area for business sometime this spring/summer, and am hoping that it will be a solo trip so I can take the Buell on its first semi-long distance ride.

In addition, I hope to get the okay from my wife to do a trip I’ve wanted to for years; a three or four day ride around Lake Superior, starting and finishing in Duluth, MN.

For Easter, we are meeting my parents in Des Moines, IA for a few days, so they can spend time with their Grand kids. Unfortunately that won’t be a bike trip, but it will still be fun. I hope to visit a dealership or two while we’re there.
